Working Wheelwrights
This list is a result of a questionnaire circulated to all known Wheelwrights in 2009. In compiling the list The Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights ("the Company") has made every endeavour to include reference to bona-fide wheelwrights in the United Kingdom.
It is appreciated that wheelwrights retire and new practitioners enter the craft. Some on the list are fully employed in the craft and can undertake all types of work whilst others have limited areas.
The Company cannot guarantee that it has included every wheelwright, and the Company accepts no liability to any wheelwright or any third party howsoever arising from any failure to include such a wheelwright. The omission of any wheelwright does not denote that the wheelwright is not worthy of inclusion. The Company apologises to any wheelwright who considers that he or she has been overlooked and will, if advised, add them to the list.
The Company reserves the right to include, or not include, any wheelwright in the list, and accepts no claim consequence or assertion arising from any inclusion or non-inclusion. The Company is under no obligation to provide any justification to any wheelwright concerned or to a third party for inclusion or non-inclusion.
While the Company has tried to ensure the accuracy of this list, the Company cannot accept any responsibility for any error, misstatement or mistakes.
The inclusion, or exclusion, of any wheelwright denotes no comment, guarantee or inference on the part of the Company on the quality of the wheelwright's work in any manner whatsoever.
